Terms and Conditions

GoLow LLC ("GoLow") operates an online platform that connects vehicle Hosts ("Hosts") with people who wish to rent those vehicles ("Guests"). GoLow does not own, operate, maintain, inspect, insure or deliver any vehicle listed on the platform. Every vehicle is owned and controlled by an independent Host.

The rental agreement is formed directly between the Host and the Guest. GoLow acts only as the technology and payment facilitator for that agreement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoLow is not responsible or liable for any damage, accident, collision, theft, vandalism, fire, mechanical failure, breakdown, towing, impoundment, traffic or parking violation, toll, personal injury, death, or loss of property arising before, during or after a trip.

GoLow makes no warranty regarding the condition, safety, roadworthiness, legality or insurance status of any vehicle, nor regarding the conduct, licensing or fitness of any Host or Guest. Any claim arising from a trip is between the Guest, the Host and the applicable insurer.

The Guest must choose Basic, Standard, Premium or Decline at checkout. The price of the selected Trip Protection option includes Mandatory Liability Insurance; there is no separate liability charge. Mandatory Liability Insurance applies to injury or property damage to other people during the trip, subject to the applicable terms, conditions, limits and exclusions. It does not cover damage to the shared vehicle.

Basic, Standard and Premium include a Vehicle Protection option that limits the Guest's financial responsibility for eligible covered damage to the shared vehicle. The deductible is USD 2,500 for Basic, USD 1,000 for Standard and USD 500 for Premium. Vehicle Protection is a contractual damage-responsibility limitation, not an insurance policy sold by GoLow.

All protection is subject to the applicable terms, conditions, limits and exclusions. Vehicle Protection does not apply to intentional or reckless conduct, prohibited use, an unauthorized driver, fraud or misrepresentation, failure to report or cooperate with a claim, or other loss excluded by the applicable terms or insurance policy. The Guest remains responsible for excluded loss and for fuel, tolls, tickets, fines, cleaning, towing, impound, late-return and other unpaid charges.

For Basic, Standard and Premium, the deductible for eligible covered damage is the amount shown for the selected option. That amount will be placed on hold on the Guest's card before payment and released when the trip ends, unless an amount is owed. The card hold is USD 2,500 for Basic, USD 1,000 for Standard and USD 500 for Premium.

Decline has no additional Trip Protection price, but it does not include Vehicle Protection for the shared vehicle. A Guest who selects Decline may be responsible for the full cost of eligible damage, theft or loss, regardless of fault, and must authorize a refundable card hold of at least USD 3,000. If the applicable damage cost or insurer deductible is higher than the hold, the Guest is responsible for the difference. GoLow may require a higher risk-based hold when disclosed before payment.

A hold is an authorization, not a final charge. It may be captured in whole or in part only for documented amounts permitted by these Terms after review. Any unused amount is released when the trip ends; the card issuer controls when released funds become available. The Guest remains responsible for valid amounts exceeding the hold.

After an accident, theft or damage, the Guest must stop safely, contact emergency services when required, notify GoLow and the Host promptly, preserve photos and other evidence, and cooperate with GoLow and the applicable insurer. GoLow reviews the trip inspection, reports and supporting documents before coordinating a charge, capture or hold release under the protection option accepted at checkout.

Guests pay the rental amount, a 10% Service fee (waived for GoLow Plus members), the selected Trip Protection option (Liability Insurance included), any extras selected, and applicable taxes. Every Guest also authorizes a refundable security hold before payment: USD 500 (Premium), USD 1,000 (Standard), USD 2,500 (Basic) or at least USD 3,000 when Vehicle Protection is declined. Hosts receive the base rental amount less a 20% GoLow commission. All payments are processed by our payment provider; GoLow does not store card numbers.

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before pickup are refunded in full. Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup are refunded at 50%. After pickup no refund is issued. GoLow Plus members may cancel free of charge at any time before pickup.

The Guest must hold a valid driver's licence, be legally permitted to drive the vehicle, and be the person named on the payment method. The vehicle may not be driven by unauthorised drivers, used for racing or off-road driving, used to carry passengers or goods for hire, driven under the influence, or taken outside any area agreed with the Host.

The Guest's age is determined from the date of birth on the driver's licence verified through GoLow's identity check and is calculated on the pickup date.

Minimum renter age: 21. Anyone under 21 years old may not rent a vehicle on GoLow.

Guests aged 21 to 24: a Young Driver Fee of 25% of the rental base (number of days multiplied by the daily price) is added to the booking and retained by GoLow. These Guests cannot decline Vehicle Protection and may only rent Standard category vehicles valued at USD 20,000 or less.

Guests aged 25 and older: no Young Driver Fee applies, they may rent any vehicle category, and they may decline Vehicle Protection subject to the security hold described in section 4.

GoLow's total liability arising out of or relating to the platform or any reservation shall not exceed the service fee GoLow received for that reservation. The Guest agrees to indemnify and hold GoLow harmless from any claim, damage, penalty or expense arising from the Guest's use of a vehicle.

GoLow may update these terms; the version accepted at the time of booking governs that reservation. Questions can be sent to support through the contact channels shown on the site.

All information, content, data, materials, software, and functionality made available through the GoLow platform are proprietary to GoLow LLC or are provided to GoLow under applicable rights, licenses, or permissions.

GoLow operates a proprietary peer-to-peer vehicle rental marketplace. The unauthorized copying, extraction, collection, reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of information available through the platform is strictly prohibited.

These charges are submitted after the trip with supporting evidence, reviewed by GoLow, and charged to the Guest's payment method on file.
