Terms and Conditions

Last updated 2026. These terms apply to every reservation made on GoLow and must be accepted before a booking is completed.

1. GoLow is a marketplace, not a rental company

GoLow LLC ("GoLow") operates an online platform that connects vehicle Hosts ("Hosts") with people who wish to rent those vehicles ("Guests"). GoLow does not own, operate, maintain, inspect, insure or deliver any vehicle listed on the platform. Every vehicle is owned and controlled by an independent Host.

The rental agreement is formed directly between the Host and the Guest. GoLow acts only as the technology and payment facilitator for that agreement.

2. No liability for damage, accidents, injury or loss

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoLow is not responsible or liable for any damage, accident, collision, theft, vandalism, fire, mechanical failure, breakdown, towing, impoundment, traffic or parking violation, toll, personal injury, death, or loss of property arising before, during or after a trip.

GoLow makes no warranty regarding the condition, safety, roadworthiness, legality or insurance status of any vehicle, nor regarding the conduct, licensing or fitness of any Host or Guest. Any claim arising from a trip is between the Guest, the Host and the applicable insurer.

3. Guest responsibility for the liability fee and deductible

The Guest is solely and fully responsible for paying the liability insurance fee shown at checkout, and for paying the full insurance deductible in the event of any damage, accident, loss or claim involving the vehicle during the rental period.

The Guest is also responsible for all fuel, tolls, tickets, fines, cleaning charges, towing, impound fees, late-return charges and any amount not covered by the applicable insurance policy. These amounts may be charged to the Guest's payment method.

4. Refundable security hold for the deductible

Before a reservation is confirmed, GoLow places a refundable authorization hold on the Guest's credit card equal to 20% of the base trip amount, with a minimum of USD 500 and a maximum of USD 2,500.

A hold is not a charge: the funds are frozen by the card issuer and are not transferred to GoLow. The hold is released automatically after the trip is completed or the booking is cancelled. If damage, loss or any unpaid charge occurs, GoLow may capture all or part of the hold and apply it toward the deductible or the amounts the Guest owes. Capturing the hold does not limit the Guest's responsibility for any remaining balance.

5. Payments and fees

Guests pay the rental amount, a 10% GoLow service fee (waived for GoLow Plus members), any optional extras selected, the liability insurance fee and applicable taxes. Hosts receive the base rental amount less a 20% GoLow commission. All payments are processed by our payment provider; GoLow does not store card numbers.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before pickup are refunded in full. Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup are refunded at 50%. After pickup no refund is issued. GoLow Plus members may cancel free of charge at any time before pickup.

7. Guest eligibility and conduct

The Guest must hold a valid driver's licence, be legally permitted to drive the vehicle, and be the person named on the payment method. The vehicle may not be driven by unauthorised drivers, used for racing or off-road driving, used to carry passengers or goods for hire, driven under the influence, or taken outside any area agreed with the Host.

8. Limitation of liability and indemnity

GoLow's total liability arising out of or relating to the platform or any reservation shall not exceed the service fee GoLow received for that reservation. The Guest agrees to indemnify and hold GoLow harmless from any claim, damage, penalty or expense arising from the Guest's use of a vehicle.

9. Changes and contact

GoLow may update these terms; the version accepted at the time of booking governs that reservation. Questions can be sent to support through the contact channels shown on the site.
