Renter Agreement
This Renter Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Golow LLC (“Golow”) and the individual renting a vehicle through the Golow platform (“Renter”). By booking or using a vehicle through the Golow platform, the Renter agrees to the following terms:
1. Platform Role
Golow operates solely as an online peer-to-peer vehicle sharing marketplace that connects vehicle owners (“Hosts”) with individuals seeking to rent vehicles (“Renters”). Golow does not own, lease, maintain, or control any vehicles listed on the platform. All vehicle rental transactions are entered into directly between the Host and the Renter.
2. Eligibility
The Renter represents and warrants that they possess a valid driver’s license, meet all minimum age requirements established by Golow, and are legally permitted to operate a motor vehicle in the jurisdiction where the vehicle will be used.
3. Vehicle Use
The Renter agrees to operate the vehicle responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws. The Renter agrees not to use the vehicle for illegal purposes, drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, allow unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle, or use the vehicle for racing, towing (unless permitted), or commercial transportation services.
4. Responsibility for Damages
The Renter is financially responsible for any damage, theft, or loss affecting the vehicle during the rental period, subject to the applicable protection plan or insurance coverage selected for the trip.
5. Insurance and Protection Plans
During an active rental period, certain protection plans or insurance coverage may apply through Golow or a third-party insurance provider. The specific terms, coverage limits, and deductibles will be disclosed at the time of booking. Outside of any applicable protection coverage, the Renter may be fully responsible for damages or liabilities arising from use of the vehicle.
6. Vehicle Condition
The Renter agrees to inspect the vehicle before and after the rental period and to report any damage, defects, or issues through the Golow platform.
7. Prohibited Conduct
The Renter agrees not to smoke or vape in the vehicle if prohibited by the Host, transport illegal substances, use the vehicle to transport hazardous materials, or tamper with tracking devices or vehicle technology.
8. Liability Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Golow LLC, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any damages, injuries, losses, or claims arising from or related to the use of any vehicle obtained through the Golow platform. The Renter acknowledges that all vehicles are owned and maintained by independent Hosts and that Golow does not guarantee the safety, reliability, or legality of any vehicle listed on the platform.
9. Indemnification
The Renter agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Golow LLC, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to the Renter’s use or operation of a vehicle, violation of any law or regulation, violation of this Agreement, or disputes between the Renter and the Host.
10. Trip Period
The Renter may only operate the vehicle during the approved rental period. Use of the vehicle outside the booked trip period may void any applicable protection plans.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
12. Acceptance
By completing a reservation or operating a vehicle booked through the Golow platform, the Renter confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement.
